Congratulations to our newest Koser Couple, Stephanie and Lucas!

Here's a glimpse of their love story:

"It was July 27, 2019, when the couple first laid eyes on one another. It should come as no surprise that Stephanie was working at a Dallastown Cheerleading, Football, and Basketball golf outing. “The Three Amigos,” as the cheer coaches are often called, had to split up to monitor different holes, leaving our heroine slightly bored and alone. It wasn’t long before a particularly loud foursome was heard coming up the hill. Lucas spotted Stephanie, sensed her boredom, and immediately asked, “Want a shot of Jack Daniels?” Unbeknownst to him, this was Stephanie’s drink of choice. She enthusiastically grabbed the bottle of Jack before Lucas could even offer his warm Coke chaser. “Don’t need it,” she laughed. Lucas was visibly impressed.

As fate would have it, the couple crossed paths once again at Katie and Judd Gemmill’s wedding on September 6, 2019. Lucas recognized Stephanie and started asking others for information about this Jack-Daniels-loving-gal. He tried his best to chat and dance beside her all evening, but the timing wasn’t yet right.

Just one month later, the pair found themselves both invited to another wedding. Having tried and failed, Lucas had accepted defeat and decided to keep a low profile. It still wasn’t time for their happily ever after. Eventually, after a few “fails” in the dating department, Stephanie’s friends encouraged her to download the Bumble dating app. Much to her surprise, after just a few swipes, a picture of a cute guy wearing a Penn State bucket hat popped up on her screen. She recognized Lucas’ smile right away. The coincidence could not be ignored. She tapped out a quick message, “Lucas! Hi!” Finally, everything fell into place."
